THE INSIGHT EQUINE EXPERIENCE
Insight Equine Therapy puts you in the center of a healing experience that includes:
- the serenity of Campbell’s Lane Farm,
- the wisdom of a community of hand-picked horses, and
- Anne Altvater’s experience with facilitating transformative interactions between her horses and clients.
A 60-minute session begins by discussing with Anne something that is going on in your professional practice or in your personal life. When you are ready, you will choose a horse – or a horse will choose you.
Beyond the four walls of a treatment room you learn how to break out of the box of patterns that may have prevented you from living your best life. In this safe, natural healing environment Anne helps you become aware of your energy. When you slow down and get quiet you begin to notice how energy moves inside of you, around you, and between you and others.
Energy awareness shines a light on habits that run your life in the form of thoughts, sensations, emotions and behaviors. This new, wider level of awareness allows you to try on new perspectives in all domains of life.
No riding is involved and you get as close to a horse as you like under Anne’s supervision.
Anne is with you at all times, observing and asking questions to help you capture insights as they occur.
At the end of your session Anne translates what she observed between you and the horses. You take home ideas, actions, and insights that you can apply to your work and to your life.
